How Does Wedding Flower Hire Work?
Everything you need to know about The Floral Hire — from browsing to big day

Every wedding is completely different. Some brides want an all-white gypsophila arch with matching bouquets and posies. Some want pastel centrepieces and a lush green eucalyptus ceremony arch. Some want to dress just the bridal party and keep the venue minimal. Some want the works — floor to ceiling, arch to centrepieces, chair ends and all.
That’s exactly why we built The Floral Hire the way we did. No fixed packages, no ‘take it or leave it’ bundles. You choose every piece individually from across our 16 collections, build your own order, and create a package that’s completely personal to your wedding.
Here’s exactly how the whole process works, from the moment you start browsing to the morning your flowers arriv
Step 1. Browse our collections and find your look
Start by exploring our 16 collections at thefloralhire.com. Each collection is a complete, coordinated range — the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ posies, centrepieces, ceremony arches and chair décor are all designed to work together within the same colour palette and aesthetic.
From our most popular all-white Grace Collection (gypsophila and soft silk roses) to warm coral tones, dusky burgundy, blush and ivory, modern calla lily arrangements and rich autumn hues — there’s a collection for every wedding style.
Not sure where to start? Order a sample first.
Select up to two pieces from any collection and we’ll send them to your home so you can see the quality in person, hold them against your dress fabric, and take photos before committing to a full order.

Step 2. Build your own package
This is the part that sets us apart. You don’t pick from a pre-set package you build exactly what you need.
Use our Build Your Package tool and work through it section by section: bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ posies, buttonholes, flower girl posy, ceremony arch or backdrop, aisle and chair decor, centrepieces, top table runner, swags. Add what you want, leave out what you don’t. Your order is completely yours.
The more you hire, the more you save with our tiered discount:
5% off orders over £200 • 7% off orders over £400 • 10% off orders over £600
You can mix and match pieces from different collections throughout, and you can adjust your order right up until your wedding date if your plans change. We ask for a minimum of 10 days’ notice when placing an order, but we recommend booking 3–6 months ahead for popular dates.
Step 3. Enter your wedding date at checkout
Your wedding date is what we use to schedule delivery. Enter it at checkout and we’ll arrange for your flowers to arrive 3 days before your big day giving you plenty of time to unpack everything, style at your own pace, and sort any questions before the morning.
We check availability on your date, particularly for our most popular pieces like the Grace Broken Arch. If anything is unavailable, we contact you immediately.

Step 4. Receive your flowers
Your order arrives carefully packed in sturdy boxes with everything protected and ready to use. Inside each box you’ll find your flowers, a prepaid return label, and our setup guides with clear instructions showing you exactly how to arrange each piece.
No floristry experience needed. Our collections are designed to be styled by the couple themselves. Arches take around 10 minutes to assemble. Centrepieces are ready to place straight from the box.
“The process is so easy and clever and the flowers are just stunning. Everything was so easy and to top it off such stunning quality.” — Natalie, May 2025
Step 5. Enjoy your wedding
Your flowers look beautiful from the ceremony through to the last dance no wilting, no checking on centrepieces, no anxiety about the heat. Just enjoy your day.
A note on your bouquet: we ask that you keep bouquets off the ground throughout the day to keep them in perfect condition. If you’d like to keep your bridal bouquet rather than return it, just let us know before ordering as we have a purchase option available.

Step 6. Return by post
After your wedding, repack everything into the original boxes and seal, we will arrange DPD to bring the labels and for them to collect 2 days or then the next following working day to collect.
A few things brides often ask us
Can I order a sample before booking?
Yes. Go to our Samples page and select up to two pieces. Bridesmaid bouquets and centrepieces are available to hire and view.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend 12 months, particularly for spring and summer Saturdays. But we accept orders with as little as 10 days’ notice, so always worth checking even if your wedding is coming up fast.
Do you offer on-site setup?
Our postal hire service is designed to be self-setup – that’s how we keep the cost so low.
