TERMS & CONDITIONS

By making a purchase with The Floral Hire , the customer agrees that he/she understands and is accepting the following Terms and Conditions. ACCEPTANCE OF CONTRACT When you order on our website or where you agree to the terms of an order via email, and these terms and conditions have been attached, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not proceed to make a purchase from us or continue to use our website. Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. Until this time, there is no legally binding relationship between you and us. You will be assigned an order number which you need to use for contact purposes. If we cannot accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product.

RENTAL PERIOD

All rental items are rented for a period of six days, beginning three days before the scheduled event date and ending two day after the event date. The customer agrees to return all rental items within this time period to The Floral hire. Late shipping fees will apply if we are not notified of a late arrival. To notify us of late shipments please send an email Info@thefloralhire.com or please give us a call. The customer further agrees that the rented property shall [1] not be used beyond the intended capacity; [2] not be used in any manner for which it was not designed or designated; [3] not be used near an open flame; [4] not be used in a negligent manner.

DEPOSIT

To use our rental service, we require a  refundable holding deposit at the online checkout on top of all bookings. The deposit will be held and refunded to the same payment method, provided the product is returned in the same condition as they were received by you.

Where the product is returned damaged or not at all. Any portion of the deposit remained will be returned to you by the same payment method.  We will keep you informed of the progress of your refund, if this is to happen.

INSURANCE

The customer hereby agrees that he/she shall fully liable to The Floral Hire for any and all damage to or loss of the rented property. Insurance is built into the cost of each item in order to cover reasonable damages, including broken flowers, damaged petals, stains or other determined natural wear of the product. Insurance will not cover items damaged beyond repair or items NOT returned. The buyer shall be responsible for the full value of items damaged beyond repair and/or unreturned items, estimated at 150% of the hire cost.

RETURN OF PROPERTY TO The Floral Hire

The customer hereby agrees to return the rented property and all original packaging materials to The Floral hire using the provided prepaid postage label. The property must be returned to the determined shipping provider one day after the event date (return date). If this day falls on a Sunday or Bank Holiday return on the following day. A £25 late fee will be charged per day, if not returned to the determined shipping provider by the date/time agreed to herein. The Floral hire is not responsible for any personal property unintentionally returned with rental property

CANCELLATION/CHANGE ORDER POLICY

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required to secure your booking date
  • In accordance with UK Consumer Rights, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking confirmation during which you can cancel your booking and receive a full refund of any payments made
  • After the 14-day cooling-off period, the deposit becomes non-refundable
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full 90 days before your event date
  • All payments are non-transferable to other dates or services
  • A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals, returnable within 7 working days after the safe return of items

CANCELLATION TERMS

Less than 14 days: No refund, full payment required, All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@thefloralhire.com

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the notice period given before your event date:

More than 12 months: Loss of 25% of the deposit paid

6-12 months: Loss of full deposit

3-6 months: Loss of full deposit plus 25% of the remaining balance

Less than 3 months: Loss of full deposit plus 50% of the remaining balance

Changes to an existing order can be made up to 10 days prior to the event date. Within 10 days, deletions are not accepted. Order subject to ship 1-2 days prior to estimated ship date. Any additions need to be made by placing a new order. Exchanges must be at equal or greater value. No cancellations of individual items are allowed within 10 days prior to the event date.

ORDER DISCREPANCIES

You must inform us within 12 hours of successful delivery of your order if there are any discrepancies or queries about the rental. It is your responsibility to communicate any concerns or issues to us within 12 hours of successful delivery so that we can rectify it for you – otherwise we will assume that you’re happy with your rental.

If you communicate any concerns or issues after this point, it is not our responsibility to resolve any issues. You are free to pay for a new rental which will be shipped and sent out as per our normal service.

We will always endeavour to give our renters the best possible experience but we need clear communication to allow for this to happen.
